Division Director is a two-year position. There are two Division Directors whose terms stagger by one year. The year runs from July – June.
June yr 1
At ASEE meeting:
- Attend executive committee meeting for the ChemE division
- Attend business meeting for the ChemE division
- Attend awards dinner for the ChemE division
August yr 1
- Aid the Chair in completing any important divisional activities. Work in areas not covered by job responsibilities of other Division officers.
Late October / November yr 1
At AIChE meeting:
- Attend executive committee meeting for the ChemE division
Any time during years 1 and 2
- Volunteer to aid division chair, meeting program chair, and other officers as needed
- Serve on ad hoc committees as requested by the chair
- Provide comment and feedback as requested on items like proposed meeting sessions, new ideas for the division, the newsletter, etc.
June yr 2
At ASEE meeting:
- Attend executive committee meeting for the ChemE division
- Attend business meeting for the ChemE division
- Attend awards dinner for the ChemE division
August yr 1
- Aid the Chair in completing any important divisional activities. Work in areas not covered by job responsibilities of other Division officers.
Late October / November yr 2
At AIChE meeting:
- Attend executive committee meeting for the ChemE division
